Eagles Nest Church International has a rich history rooted in a deep hunger for the Holy Spirit. This ministry began in 1954 when two women, Ollie McCubbin and Helen Tong, driven by a passion for teaching about the Holy Spirit, laid its foundation.

In August 1957, The Peoples Church was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-denominational church. A property on Pipe Street, consisting of three lots, was purchased, and a semi-colonial structure was built. Pastors Ollie and Helen, known for their strong prophetic anointing, served as the original co-pastors. Over the years, the church was blessed with the leadership of two additional pastors: Pastor Bob Proy and Pastor Barbara Tippett, who came to us from Africa.

In 1999, Pastor Barbara stepped down, and Pastor Darrell Gant became the senior pastor. In 2001, under his leadership, the ministry was renamed Eagles Nest Church International to reflect its evolving mission. God began uniting people from diverse ethnic backgrounds to worship together as one congregation. The name symbolizes the way the Lord has carried this ministry on "eagles' wings."

Pastor Darrell made his transition to his heavenly home on December 13, 2023. Before his passing, he spoke to many about his belief that his daughter, Minister Danielle Gant, was called to succeed him. Through God’s leading and a vote by the congregation, Minister Gant was chosen as the next pastor of ENCI. She officially stepped into her role on June 3, 2024, and assumed the pulpit on June 9, 2024, continuing her father’s legacy with a heart for God and His people.

Today, Eagles Nest Church International is a vibrant, Holy Spirit-filled church. Each gathering is marked by the tangible presence of Jesus and the love of God. We invite you to join us, experience the anointing of worship, and encounter the presence of the Lord. Come be a part of our growing family as we celebrate His love and purpose together.

Our Fundamental Beliefs:

1. The scriptures are the inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2)

2. There is only one true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:26; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19)

3. Man fell and was redeemed (Romans 5:12-21)

4. The salvation of man came through Jesus Christ

a. The conditions to Salvation: receive it by grace through faith by confessing with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead (Titus 2:11; Romans 10:9,13-15; John 3:3, 16; Titus 3:4-7)

b. The evidence of salvation: the inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Romans 8:16)

5. Baptism in water should be observed as commanded in the scriptures (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22)

9. Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; 1 John 2:6)

10. The church is the body of Christ and habitation of God (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:22; Hebrews 12:23)

11. We believe in ministry and evangelism to the world and for the edification of the body of Christ (Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)

12. We believe in the divine healing of God (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17)

13. We believe in the blessed hope of the second coming of Christ (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Romans 8:23)
